Membership Information

Membership Requirements

Prospective members of the University Club require sponsorship by two current members. Individuals desiring membership must have a minimum of two years college education and complete a written application. (The 2 year education requirement is not neccesary for Press Club applicants.) The application is then submitted to the Board of Directors with the recommendation of the membership comittee.

Recommended new members are notified of their acceptance to the University Club/Press Club through the office of the Club Manager on behalf of the Board of Directors.

Special Membership Opportunity

We are currently waiving the initiation fee, so apply now and save $250.

Existing athletic club members can eliminate their annual food and beverage minimum for one full year when they sign up a new athletic club member.   Two new members joining together also qualify for this special offer as well as the discounted paired membership rates.

Paired Membership

Current members may sponsor one new member and both receive a reduced rate in their prospective categories. Or two new members may join the club together as paired members.  Paired memberships expire after two years.  The paired memberships automatically revert to regular memberships until a new member is recruited.  In the event that your paired member resigns, a new member must be found to remain at the paired rate.
